A taste of revenge

Anna Doletskaya, a popular singer and actress, is almost killed in a cruelly staged car accident while on a concert tour in a remote provincial town. Initial press reports state that Anna is dead, but miraculously she survives. She regains consciousness to find herself in the company of a healer who has been taking care of her, and, with her help, she is soon on the way to a complete recovery. Later, however, Anna makes a shocking discovery – the car accident was in fact an assassination attempt arranged by her husband, producer Ruslan Shuravin aided by his personal assistant, Inga Paletskis. Furthermore, they were helped by corrupt police officers. Anna decides on a programme of retribution, starting with a complete change of appearance, after a course of plastic surgery. She then returns to the capital city to put her plan into action, to take revenge on her enemies, win back the love and respect of her daughter, Dasha and help her beloved Makar, the healer's grandson, who became disabled after sustaining severe injuries when he was helping to rescue Anna. The gentle and modest Anna will soon learn the taste of revenge at first hand.
