Victory at the II Vyacheslav Tikhonov "17 Moments" International Film Festival!
A new victory in the record list of Star Media’s awards was added by the main character of the series "Mata Hari" played by Vahina Giocante in the nomination "Best Female Role in the Film Series."
The festival was held in Pavlovsky Posad, Russia, from 7 to 11 February, 2018.
This year the festival was dedicated to the 90th anniversary of Vyacheslav Tikhonov. Vyacheslav Tikhonov was one of the outstanding actors of Soviet and Russian cinematograph, and the role of Stierlitz in "Seventeen Moments of Spring", one of the best examples of Soviet TV series, brought him all-Union fame and popularity, and the series was awarded the State Prize of the USSR. The festival considers first of all this branch of cinematograph. Therefore, there are two competitions in the framework of the festival: the contest of present-time television series and an international contest of theatrical films.

Synopsis
Margaret McLeod is penniless and out on the streets after her husband leaves her and gains custody of her only daughter. With no other means of making a living, she decides to become an exotic dancer. Under the stage name of Mata Hari, Margaret soon wins fame and notoriety, becoming extremely popular with the European elite. She becomes a regular guest of luxury villas and magnificent mansions, her every performance creating a real sensation. But the year is 1913 and the world is on the verge of a war that will change the entire course of history. Mata Hari cannot even imagine what fateful role she is to play in these coming events...
